Inclusive Digital Learning Design, UDL, and AI in Higher Education

Evelyn Chan is an educational technology scholar practitioner in the Ontario college sector whose work advances inclusive and quality-driven digital learning design. She supports faculty in creating clear, accessible, and engaging learning experiences grounded in Universal Design for Learning and learner-centered practice.


Her work focuses on course quality, instructional design, interactive learning, and faculty development. She is a Quality Matters Certified Peer Reviewer and Certified Master Reviewer and has participated in institutional and cross-institutional Quality Matters reviews across North America, developing practical approaches to alignment, measurable learning outcomes, accessibility, and intentional course structure.
